I am passionate about impacting the lives of less privileged women and girl child by empowerment initiatives, outreaches, and implementing sustainable programs

Barek Charity Foundation is a non-governmental organization committed to making a positive impact on the less privileged girls and women through health, education, and hygiene empowerment initiatives
Founded by Comfort Omoya in the heart of Abuja, FCT, our foundation embodies the spirit of compassion at our core and empowerment as our goal. Working to create a better world one community at a time, we believe that by working together we can create lasting change and build stronger, more resilient communities that thrive for generations to come.

Our commitment is to improve the health and wellbeing of the less privileged girls and women by providing vital educational support, health services, and opportunities for sustainable growth. We strive to reduce extreme poverty by empowering women in need, offering scholarships to young girls, and combating diseases, such as malaria, hepatitis, and cholera.

Our Mission
In Nigeria, millions of women and girls face barriers that limit their health, education, and opportunities. Poor access to healthcare and menstrual hygiene forces many out of school, while cultural norms, early marriage, and poverty deepen the gender gap. This reality is the reality for millions of women and girls across communities. Limited access to quality education, poor health and hygiene facilities, and minimal empowerment opportunities keep them trapped in cycles of poverty and dependence.
At Barek Charity Foundation, we are committed to breaking these cycles by improving health, hygiene, education, and empowerment. We work to ensure every woman and girl has the right to learn, to be healthy, to live with dignity, and to shape her own future.
