April 27th 2024
International Girls in ICT Day
Involving 24 girls in ICT activities from February to April, recognizing their achievements as BAREK accomplishments, enlisting them as volunteers, and encouraging them to promote ICT training under the BAREK brand in schools and communities monthly after April.

Mentrual Hygiene Day
Conduct educational campaigns, distribute hygiene kits, and organize a drama event to promote menstrual hygiene and awareness in three DP camps and one school respectively.

Capacity building for Barek Staff and Volunteers
Celebrate Barek staff, volunteers, and global humanitarians on World Humanitarian Day (BRK/HM/24/09), paying tribute to those who lost their lives, raising awareness about humanitarian efforts, and sharing the message on all Barek social media platforms through a designed flyer and dedicated content.

International Day of The Girl Child
Empower and celebrate girls’ achievements through educational initiatives and collaborate with schools and local communities to address their specific needs.
- Promote literacy and self-worth in the girl child
- Sensitize the community and guardians on the values of a girl child
Conduct a WASH-focused outreach for girls by visiting a school or community with handwashing buckets, hand sanitizer, and soap.

- Curb the spread of bacteria-caused diseases
- Emphasize the essence of "Health is Wealth."

Raise awareness about sanitation and access to clean toilets, launch WASH campaigns and educational programs, and collaborate with local authorities for sustainable sanitation projects in the community.
